Professional Background: I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a major
in Elementary Education K-6 and minors in Reading K-8 and Language Arts K-8. After I graduated, I substitute taught in the
Charles City, Cedar Falls, and Waterloo Community Schools Districts for two years before being hired at St. Edward for the
10-11 school year. I was blessed with the opportunity to teach all grades K-9 at some point during my two years of substitute
teaching.
A little about me: I was born and raised in Cedar Falls and attended
Cedar Falls High School. I have an older sister who is going back to school to become a nurse and a younger brother, who lives
in Fayetteville, Arkansas doing heavy construction. In my spare time I like to read, do crafts, and bake.
